There are lots of different ways to get published, but I would suggest getting started with self-publishing. I think this is an excellent way to get to know the industry and understand just how much hard work goes into writing and publishing a book. There are many ways to source information, i.e Reddit.com (reddit.com/r/selfpublish) and google.com – you need to also be able to ask yourself the right questions. I find you will only truly understand this if you do the work yourself. I started with self-publishing, so there is no reason that you can’t!
I would recommend starting a social media page to share your poetry and try to build up an audience. This will prove there are people resonating with your writing and supporting your book/poetry. If your goal is to sell a book, then you need to be able to prove you have an audience and interest in your work.

Wow! What an honour that you have chosen one of my creations to become part of you forever! It will never cease to amaze me. Purchasing this permit is not mandatory (your body, your choice) however a donation will go a long way to ensuring more creations can be made in my future :) thank you!
